Something I Learned Again

After doing drainage line alteration work in our second building, here is what I learned.

No matter what, we always make mistakes during house construction. Each mistake will easily cost a few thousand to lakhs. (this is what I always tell)

It’s not just about the cost, but also a waste of our time and energy in fixing those issues. For the past few days onwards i’m just spending my time, energy, and money on fixing the issue.

Arranging labourers to fix those issues is itself another task. Because most of them are not interested in doing your small work. So you can easily expect to pay a premium price for some tasks.

Most contractors know the mistake that we are making… they usually just suggest or ignore guiding the house owner properly. At the end of the day, you are the one who pays the price.

I recommend that everyone understand some basic stuff before starting your construction work.

Once you start your construction, you don’t get much time or energy to learn. You should do all this work before you start, not after starting.

Our alteration work is almost complete. Now, only the tiles laying work is pending. We tried contacting our tiles contractor, he is telling I will come today and tomarrow kind of story but not coming.

This is how things work in real life.

I’m not sure how much I’m going spending in making this alteration work. It’s definately going to cost much more then my All-access pass price.

These are the type of mistakes many user make and making while building their first house.

I have seen them.

I had done those.
