Yesterday, I learned that our Karnataka government is giving E-Khatha to our revenue site in our municipal office.
So, I was standing on my first floor and speaking with our neighbour about the making procedure. While speaking, a tax topic came up.
To date, we need to provide tax receipts to get E-khatha. I already have the tax receipt, but our neighbour is not paying the Tax.
While discussing tax things, he shared how his loan broker scammed him regarding tax stuff… 🙂
Which he realised after a few years.
As soon as he shared about the loan broker scam, I also shared that it happened to us as well, and it happens to almost all brand-new house construction users, at least for revenue site owners. I replied to our neighbour.
We continued the discussion about e-Khatha.
These loan brokers scam almost all new house construction users. This is particularly applicable for revenue site users.
Because of this scam, we could have easily lost 20 - 30K, I guess. I don’t remember the exact amount right now.
We could have easily escaped this scam if we knew it. This does not just happen to us. It happens to most new house construction users. Especially for revenue site owners, it is very easy to scam.
Today, I learned that a loan broker had also similarly scammed our neighbour.
If you want to avoid such a scam, I have shared more details in my Revenue Site Loan by Brokers guide.
Know some facts and avoid getting scammed by loan brokers.
That’s all for today.
